چکیده
The habitat of endophytic bacteria in plant tissues making it automatically used by plants to protect themselves against pathogenic bacteria. Endophytic have been applied various fields, including agriculture, pharmacy, medicine, and biotechnology. This review was carried out summarize recent studies focusing on the diversity derived from traditional medicinal which antibacterial activity extracellular enzymes. article prepared written referring literature collected books online journal publication. focused Vernonia anthelmintic, Saurauia scaberrinae, Ki rinyuh (Chromolaena odorata) plants. results revealed that obtained anthelmintic is Micrococcus, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, Stenotrophomonas, Pantoea genus possess same biological properties as host plant, producing activity. scaberrinae successfully isolated endophyte fungus Phoma sp. produces phomodione (4) cercosporamide. Phomodione exhibit inhibitory S. aureus, P. ultimum, sclerotiorum R. solani. Cercosporamide exhibits aureus. were also odorata), BECB3, BECB 4, BECA 8, 5, 1, 10 isolates enzyme activities such β-amylase, α-amylase, cellulase, chitinase, protease. Understanding can help researchers apply them effectively.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant activities of medicinal plants. The antibacterial activity of methanolic extracts of three medicinal plants (Swertia chirata, Terminalia bellerica and Zanthoxylum armatum) were tested against Gentamicin (standard drug) on eleven gram positive and seventeen gram negative bacteria by agar well method. It was r...

BACKGROUND Endophytes, microorganisms which reside in plant tissues, have potential in producing novel metabolites for exploitation in medicine. Cytotoxic and antibacterial activities of a total of 300 endophytic fungi were investigated. METHODS Endophytic fungi were isolated from various parts of 43 plants from the National Park Pahang, Malaysia. Extracts from solid state culture were tested...

Xenorhabdus and Photorhabdus are members of the family Enterobacteriaceae, and are engaged in a mutualistic association with the entomopathogenic nematodes, Steinernema and Heterorhabditis, respectively. In the present study, the organic fraction of ethyl acetate bacterial crude extracts of the symbiotic bacteria, Xenorhabdus stockiae and Photorhabdus luminescens isolated from entomopathogenic ...

The extracts from the stem of Cissus quadrangularis and the leaves of Asplenium nidus, Pereskia bleo, Persicaria odorata and Sauropus androgynus were assayed against six fungi using p-iodonitrotetrazolium-based on colorimetric broth microdilution method. All the plant ex...
متن کاملA Friendly Relationship between Endophytic Fungi and Medicinal Plants: A Systematic Review
Endophytic fungi or endophytes exist widely inside the healthy tissues of living plants, and are important components of plant micro-ecosystems. Over the long period of evolution, some co-existing endophytes and their host plants have established a special relationship with one and another, which can significantly influence the formation of metabolic products in plants, then affect quality and ...
